Camping & Glamping

You could stay in a large teepee, yurt or bell tent, plushly furnished with rugs, fire braziers and real beds, ensuring a warm and comfortable night

We realise that camping might not be to everyone's taste. The lack of bathroom facilities, the absence of a soft cosy bed and nowhere to sit when it rains can put a lot of people off. Fear not though because Scotland has fully embraced the glamping trend!

What is glamping? Essentially, it's luxury camping. The comfort levels range depending on what you choose. You could stay in a large teepee, yurt or bell tent, plushly furnished with rugs, fire braziers and real beds, ensuring a warm and comfortable night. These often have shared nearby cooking and washing amenities. Alternatively, you could book a wigwam or glamping pod. These are generally made of wood and are self-contained with self-catering and a toilet. You can also often book these with a private hot tub!

The latest trend in luxury camping is mobile shepherd's huts, which are stylish and comfortable yet rustic. These traditional huts often feature woodburning stoves, double beds, cooking and bathroom facilities.

Our members offer various glamping setups so you'll be sure to find what you're looking for whether it's for a family getaway with the dog or a romantic break.

All Wild Scotland members operate in line with our Best Practice Guidelines in regards to sustainability, accessibility, community and safety.
